I just went and checked on his site, and even I got a bit confused for a minute or two, since the title of tutorial #2 clearly says XP, but then the main instructions are about Win7/Vista/2K8, etc. boot the USB drive into a boot manager (like grub4dos or syslinux), and have a menu that then let's you choose either to boot into the Win7 or the XP installation process.
